Filing a Copyright Complaint

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our DMCA Agent. Your notice must include:

  • Your unique signature, either handwritten or electronic, as the copyright holder or designated representative.
  • A detailed explanation of the copyrighted material you assert has been violated.
  • The specific location of the infringing content on our site (e.g., a URL).
  • Your personal contact details, such as full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A good-faith statement that the use of the material isn’t permitted by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
  • A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, affirming the accuracy of your notice and confirming your authority to represent the copyright holder.

Our Response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we’ll:

  • Eliminate or restrict access to the content claimed to be infringing.
  • Inform the user who posted it, if possible, about the claim.
  • Share your notice with them so they can respond, if they wish.

Counter-Notifications

If a user believes their content was removed in error, they can submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent, including:

  • Their signature.
  • Details of the removed content and its original location.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that they believe the removal was a mistake.
  • Their contact information.
  • Agreement to the jurisdiction of a federal court where they or Brat Generator are located, and consent to accept service of process from the complainant.

If a valid counter-notification is received, we may reinstate the content unless the complainant initiates legal action within 10 business days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly violate copyrights, based on our judgment.
